I joined Saunders & Co in July 2023 as a lawyer in the Immigration team. I completed my Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in Japanese and Cultural Studies at the University of Canterbury in February 2022 and was admitted to the bar in December of that same year.
Having been a migrant myself, I understand the challenges one must face to kick-start their journey here in New Zealand. I aim to utilise my personal experiences and background to take a compassionate and comprehensible approach to achieve the desired outcome for my clients.
Besides English, I can communicate in four other languages (Mandarin, Japanese, Malay, and Korean). Due to my diverse cultural upbringing, I can relate and adjust to circumstances with ease. When I am not working, I enjoy cooking, reading a good book and exploring the world.
